In what can be construed as an attempt to be more intuitive for new users (or ones coming from other platforms), Twitter has switched over from its "favorites" system to a more user-friendly "like." The alteration does not impede much on the service nor does it drastically change the flow of use, as members can now simply "like" (with a heart icon rather than the star of which it replaces) a tweet and store it within a new "likes" tab.
